Founded by Chalene and Chris-Randy Myrie, this family business emerged from humble beginnings to become a thriving force in the wedding and events industry.

 

The journey began unconventionally, as Chalene, initially a Marine Biologist, and Chris-Randy, a System Analyst, found themselves drawn into the world of weddings after planning their own magical celebration in December 2012. Chalene’s innate creativity and knack for crafts, interior design, and photography paved the way for her to delve into wedding design as a part-time endeavor. However, it wasn’t until 2016 that they took a leap of faith and purchased the very company that had adorned their wedding venue. Despite initial doubts and financial constraints, they forged ahead, rebranding the business as Krafted by Design—a name that encapsulated their commitment to craftsmanship and innovation. They identified an opportunity to diversify our offerings, recognizing a gap in the event rental market. Thus, launching in February 2022, Lounged by Krafted, expanding their reach beyond weddings to cater to a broader spectrum of events with high-end lounge furniture rentals.

 

 With a blend of global sophistication, local charm, and a dedication to sustainability, they continue to redefine the art of event design, one celebration at a time.
